ok. today i took the easy way out. i didnt rationalise. when my daughter cried monster, i lost my patience, gave her a little ganesha idol she got as a gift from my sister, and told her now no monsters will come near her.
more or less what my mother did with me.
but in this case without that total belief. with doubt, with impatience... true me.
