rain
it's raining in qatar. roads are flooded. it's raining here... i love that sound of rain. it gets messy and damp... i love it still

Raining here too. Means having kids at home as schools r closed till Sunday , 4 hr commute for officegoers and dark houses and clothes taking too long to dry for stay-at-homers. Do I like the rain??????? hmmmm

Umm Oviya + Nilah = Mother of Oviya + Nilah. Because in the Arab world a woman is first addressed as bint X (daughter of X) and then once she has a son (Y) she is Umm Y. I am not sexist, so don't mind surrendering my identity to my daughters.
... Is me getting nostalgic. The days in Indian Express, the days of writing things that really mattered and made a difference. Just a few bylines from those days. And then the work I did from here... for a cause, for fun. Then life takes a turn -- more responsibilities, less freewheeling... What is below is a bit of nostalgia. It is also a slice of my EGO.
